PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AS THE BELOW OUTLINES HOW WE PRINT YOUR CUSTOM IMAGE
(we get several calls a day about what to do and what we explain to you on the phone is detailed below, so have a quick read....please lol).
What you are purchasing is an edible image in which YOU are supplying the image - whether it's a personal photo or something off the internet - it's an image you are going to give us (i.e - not one of our disney/marvel images from the edible image library found in the other edible image tab).
The largest we can print is 8" round.
1. Purchase this product - Add the number of sheets you would like to have printed to the cart. In the comments field (in the cart) add any details you'd like us to know (i.e collection date and time for example). You are not uploading any images to our website as part of the purchase process.
2. You will receive an automated order confirmation email from us as soon as you've ordered and paid for your image. This automated email comes through immediately upon completion of your order. If you do not receive it, please check your junk/spam folder as it will be in there.
3. Reply to that email attaching the image/s you would like printed. In that email let us know the dimensions that your image needs to be printed. THAT'S IT. Super easy - PURCHASE > REPLY TO ORDER EMAIL > DONE.
One super important note to mention in regards to round images. Most people send us a square or rectangle image for printing as a round image. Please note that if your image is narrow or quite zoomed in, when we convert to round it will cut off nearly 50% of your image. For best results please either convert your rectangle/square image to round first before sending so you're happy with it or please provide an image with a large-ish area around the part you want in the print out. The round image is print on an A4 sheet, so you will need to cut around the image with scissors (just like you would with paper - super easy).
You will also need to let us know how large to print the circle (i.e 7" round). We can go up to 8" round. If no size is given, we will print 7".
Tips - If for some reason you do not receive that auto email from us at all (maybe provided an incorrect email address), no issues. Simply email your image, with instructions, to chch@thecakeshop.co.nz.
Images can be sent in JPG, PNG, PDF or Word Doc.
Edible images last for a very long time. They will be given in a snaplock bag. Keep at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
***We do not do any photo/image editing such as adding text/messages - we aren't graphic designers - you will need to do this yourself before sending the image - we are purely a print-only service.
Orders and images received PRIOR to 8am will be printed same day (business days only). If after 8am, they will be available the next business day (or on the courier the next business day).
IMAGES MUST BE PAID FOR PRIOR TO PRINTING.
